Call for papers

Communication Policy Research Conference
June 22-23, 2017 
Cartagena – Colombia

CPR LATAM (formerly known as ACORN-REDECOM) is a cross-disciplinary academic network which seeks to advance knowledge about the social, economic and political impact of ICTs in the Americas. CPR LATAM 2017 annual conference will be held in Cartagena (Colombia), June 22-23. The conference brings together scholars, policymakers, and members of the private sector working in the ICT policy and development field. This year, the Conference will be held in coordination with the Congreso Latinoamericano de Telecomunicaciones (CLT).

Abstracts should have up to 2000 words and clearly state the purpose, methodology, findings and practical implications of the research. They should be submitted at http:www.dirsi.net/conftool/, starting on February 15, 2017.

Abstracts and final papers will be accepted in English, Spanish or Portuguese. 

The Centro de Estudios de Telecomunicacion de América Latina - Cet.la - will award a scholarship to students and researchers from the centers associated with its Academic Network to attend CPRLATAM 2017. Interested students and researchers should submit their papers by April 21 to estudios@tel.lat. All information about the contest is available here.
