CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
The CPR LATAM conference will bring together academic experts, and public and private sector leaders from across Latin America in Varadero, Cuba in June 2018 to discuss key issues facing the development of the digital ecosystems in the region as its host country Cuba embarks on an ICT transformation.
CPR LATAM invites researchers focused on the impact of ICT in Latin America to participate in the upcoming conference and apply to present their recent findings around the following topics:
Competition Policy in the Digital Age
Digital Rights and Privacy
Economic development and competitiveness
Future of Connectivity
Future of ICT regulation
ICT for Development (ICT4D)
Innovation and policy responsiveness
Internet of Things
Market environment and industry structure
To apply, please submit an abstract for review on the CPR LATAM conftool website by February 1, 2018. Abstracts must be no more than 2,000 words and clearly state the purpose, methodology, findings and practical implications of the research. Please include a summary of your CV (no more than 2 pages) in the same document. Papers will be accepted in English, Spanish or Portuguese.

* This year CPR LATAM will be awarding prizes for top quality research submissions. To be considered for a prize, your final paper must be completed and submitted by April 15, 2018.
** Please note: Participants who have not submitted their final papers by the May 15th deadline will not present their research at the conference.
